The theme for Wren’s birthday, that is.

I’ve been trolling Pinterest (and other less-interesting websites) for the past couple months or so to find ideas for Wren’s first birthday party. Tonight I think I stumbled across the perfect theme.

Ok, before I get into it, let me explain.

For those who are unfamiliar, ‘Wren’ is the name of a bird. This bird, to be exact:

It’s a teeny tiny brown bird. Growing up, my parents had Wren houses all over their property, and every spring we would open up the doors on the houses to see the tiny little babies inside. Maybe that’s the reason the name ‘Wren’ struck me when I happened across it about a year ago.

Anyway, Wren’s name and namesake have kind of been a running theme. I try not to overdo it, because I’m not cray-cray like that…….. Anyway, most notable is the theme of her room:

When I first saw this bedding set I KNEW it was the one. Much like when I saw this birthday theme, I KNEW it was the one.

It’s an adorable bird theme! I love that it incorporates birds, but I also love EVERYTHING else about it! The colors, prints, and the fun ideas.
